Siemens latest generation of remote controls for hearing instruments.

As Siemens hearing instrument technology evolves, with ProPocket, remote control technology has also evolved.

The ProPocket remote control provides easy fingertip control over virtually all instrument functions. It is small enough to fit into a purse or pocket, so you can make quick and easy adjustments without others noticing.

The stand-by switch allows you to turn off your hearing instrument, activating the low-power consumption mode.

ePen

ePenThe award-winning ePen™ is a remote control for Siemens’ hearing systems.

Siemens Audiology designed the ePen specifically to meet the wishes of many hearing aid wearers for discreteness. Shaped like a fountain pen, it allows the hearing aid wearer to adjust the volume, change the individual hearing programs or to turn the hearing instruments on and off. A simple tug and a couple of twists are all it takes to set up the hearing system for the desired result. And everything practically unnoticed.

The ePen works with current hearing instruments from the Siemens product lines e. g. Pure, Life, and Motion. Depending on the degree of hearing impairment, the design preference, and personal needs, this range of devices offers the ideal answer for practically every type of hearing impairment.
ePen remote control for hearing instruments gave the edge to Siemens Audiology in winning the iF product design award for 2010. This international award is given to products that feature unusual success in combining functionality, user-friendliness and aesthetics, in addition to meeting all the innovation criteria.

The “red dot” product design award 2010 is the second design prize Siemens Audiology has received for ePen. The “red dot” is awarded to products that have outstanding design quality.
