Smart Control™

Smart Control™ is an optional hand-held remote control that lets you adjust your hearing instrument controls, such as volume and program changes, quickly, comfortably and discreetly. Smart Control is available with Passport, Yuu™, Latitude 16, Latitude 8, Latitude 4, Next™ 16, Next 8, Next 4, and 360™+. On specific hearing instruments, such as Passport, and Latitude 16, Smart Control also allows you to adjust smartFocus technology.

Smart Alert™ Remote

An evolution of Smart Control – the Smart Alert remote contains all the hearing functionality of the Smart Control with the addition of household alerting functions.

The Smart Alert™ remote is a key component of Smart Alert System. This convenient, easy to use remote controls your hearing instrument functions, like volume and program changes, and your alerting functions. The remote receives signals from the household detectors and sends beep alerts to your hearing instruments during the day or to the bed shaker at night. It also acts as an alerting device by illuminating event-specific icons and through vibration.

Direct Audio Input

Direct audio input (DAI), also known as an FM audio shoe or integrated FM receiver, is a small accessory that attaches to the end of your behind-the-ear hearing instruments. DAI allows you to connect directly to an audio system or television for clearer sound reception.
